Once again a very very nice beach on the West coast of the North Island...

Piha beach and the Lion Rock

Piha beach is less thant an hour far from the busy city of Auckland and is such a great beach full of surfers.

Mission Bay

Mission Bay is one of the closest beach from Auckland. It is also a great place to have dinner thanks to many occidental (mainly) cafes, restaurants and bars it has.

Orewa 6km beach

40 km north of Auckland you will find this 6 km beach. Nice and quiet but at this time of the year the South Pacific is cold! The feeckle weather offered us this pretty rainbow... Lucky us!

The Sky Tower

The Sky tower which dominates the city and which is purple by night (sometime).

Watch out!!!

This is not just a signal... It is real. So, if you get the chance to go to Coromandel... Watch the rocks out (especially by night!).

Coromandel Region

First trip out of Auckland... Coromandel and the Bay of Penty. Lucky us (Xavier, Hai and I), the weather was great and, even if we get troubles with the 800 NZD car (brave Honda Vigor), it was a memorable Kiwi adventure. Special thanks to Dawson and his friends for the welding of the exhaust and the Kiwi jokes!

Auckland City

Waitemata harbour and Auckland city on the back... My new "home town". Pretty busy city but the winter is very enjoyable (15 degrees) compare to the one I am use to have in Normandy!
